Daily maintenance
The most important aspect of maintaining a money counter is dust removal. In humid areas, if the dust accumulates more, it will have a great impact on the strong electric part of the machine. In dry areas, dust has a large amount of free charge, and the banknote counter will also generate a part of the free charge during the counting process, which will cause the free charge to accumulate on the banknote and eventually produce tip discharge, which is what we often say "Static". The phenomenon of electrostatic discharge will have an impact on the machine, ranging from affecting counterfeiting, and causing irreparable damage to the integrated circuit of the machine. Aside from these adverse effects on the machine, too much dust is also harmful to the human body. Therefore, the most important task of maintaining the machine is to remove dust.

The place where dust accumulates more inside the machine is the UV lamp. The UV lamp is the light source that the money counter uses optical technology to detect counterfeiting. When it is blocked, the intensity of the light source will decrease, and the sensitivity of counterfeiting will also decrease. In most cases, the optical sensor is very close to the light source. If there is a lot of dust on the lamp tube, the sensor will be covered, so the sensitivity of forgery detection will be lower. The dust here can be cleaned with a brush or a rag, but you must remember to unplug the power cord of the machine first to avoid electric shock! After removing the dust on the lamp tube, it is necessary to clean the dust box of the machine. For money counters with vacuum cleaners, the dust picked up by the vacuum cleaners is installed in the dust bin, which can be removed for cleaning. The mechanism of the money counter is very complicated. Do not touch the places that cannot be touched with a brush or a rag, otherwise the machine will be easily damaged.
The next job is to replace the wearing parts. The vulnerable parts of the money counter mainly include rubber parts and purple light tubes. The money counting machine is a machine that imitates human money counting. It mainly imitates friction, so some rubber parts are used. After a period of use of the rubber parts, the friction force will decrease due to wear and tear, which will lead to a decrease in the performance of the machine. In this case, the corresponding rubber parts need to be replaced. In addition, the emitting ability of ultraviolet light will also decrease after the ultraviolet lamp has been working for a period of time, which will lead to the decline of the machine's forgery detection ability, and thus the ultraviolet lamp needs to be replaced. The method of replacing them is generally very easy, as long as the corresponding part is removed according to the method required by the user manual, and then the new device is installed.
The last maintenance work is to adjust the gap between the banknotes. The money counter has a mechanism that adjusts the friction force. Most of the money counters have this mechanism on the back of the machine. Its shape is similar to a circular button, which can be called a "knob". The adjustment of the knob generally conforms to such a rule - "clockwise adjustment, the friction force increases; counterclockwise adjustment, the friction force decreases", it is much more convenient to adjust after knowing this law, generally it is enough to adjust two circles.
